This Season, It's All About Giving Back

With your help, we are raising funds and awareness for a different organization every Wednesday during the CitySkate Season. All you have to do to "Skate It Forward" is purchase a ticket on a Wednesday! $5 from every walk up ticket sale will go to a the following organizations:


November 28th | St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance

St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education.

December 5th | Phoenix Sister Cities

Phoenix Sister Cities exists to create people-to-people relationships between the residents of Phoenix and its sister cities through commercial, educational, cultural and artistic exchange programs and events that create and sustain global, long-term, international partnerships and business opportunities for the citizens of Phoenix

December 12th | Upward & Onward

Pilot program in partnership with Phoenix Union High School District’s Exceptional Student Services department, United Healthcare and CityScape Phoenix to bring the students with intellectual and developmental disabilities a unique classroom + internship experience preparing them to lead a more independent life post high school graduation. This is done through a classroom space staffed by Phoenix Union School District but located at CityScape. In addition to classroom time and a curriculum specialized for this type of experience and preparation students will also be given the opportunity to hold an internship at multiple CityScape businesses.

December 19th | Upward & Onward

Valley of the Sun United Way is breaking the cycle of poverty in Maricopa County by fighting for children, families, and neighborhoods. They bring partners together from every sector – public, private, and non-profit. No other organization brings together as many people in as many ways to fight poverty. United Way works to guide members of the community to achieve their potential through education, to become self-sufficient by earning a stable income and to work hard to improve their lives, breaking the cycle.

Our mission is to serve LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 14-24. We enhance their lives by providing empowering social and service programs that promote self‐expression, self‐acceptance, leadership development and healthy life choices.
